1. Scope and Overview

This Cookie Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Waltz Marketing Inc. (“Waltz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies, pixels, local storage, software development kits, tags, scripts, and similar technologies when you visit mywaltz.com, use app.mywaltz.com, or interact with another website, application, or online service controlled by Waltz (collectively, the “Waltz Properties”).

This Policy supplements the Waltz Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. The Privacy Policy explains how Waltz collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information more broadly. If this Policy conflicts with the Privacy Policy on a privacy matter, the Privacy Policy controls.

This Policy does not govern a website, landing page, form, campaign, or other experience created or operated by a Waltz customer unless that experience expressly identifies Waltz as the operator and links to this Policy. Section 10 explains the responsibilities of Waltz customers for their own sites and technologies.

2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on or reads from your browser or device. Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you remove them. First-party cookies are set by the site you visit; third-party cookies are set or accessed by another provider.

Similar technologies can perform related functions without using a traditional cookie. These include pixels and web beacons, local and session storage, software development kits (SDKs), tags and scripts, device or advertising identifiers, link decoration, and server-side event measurement. In this Policy, the term “cookies” may refer collectively to these technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

3. Categories of Technologies We Use

The technologies used on a Waltz Property depend on the page, feature, account state, location, browser, integrations, and choices you make. A technology may support more than one purpose, but Waltz classifies it according to its principal purpose and applies the consent or opt-out rules required for that use.

Current technology details. Select “Cookie Settings” in the Waltz website footer or cookie banner to view the most current operational list of available categories, cookie or technology names, providers, purposes, and durations. That list may change as Waltz adds, removes, or updates features and providers.

3.1 Strictly Necessary Technologies

These technologies are required to provide a Waltz Property or a feature you request. They cannot generally be disabled through the Waltz preference tool because the relevant service may not function without them. They may support:

  • Account and session management. Sign-in, authentication, session continuity, workspace access, and account routing.
  • Security and fraud prevention. Abuse detection, bot protection, access controls, diagnostics, and protection of users and systems.
  • Service delivery. Network management, load balancing, feature availability, error recovery, and technical operation.
  • Consent and compliance. Recording cookie choices, applying privacy signals, and maintaining legally required records.
  • Transactions and requested integrations. Supporting checkout, billing, scheduling, connected services, and other actions you initiate.

3.2 Functional and Preference Technologies

These technologies remember choices and enable enhanced features. They may remember language, region, display settings, saved preferences, chat or support choices, and feature configuration. They may also support embedded media, scheduling tools, or connected services that you choose to use. If you reject them, some preferences may need to be entered again and some optional features may not work as intended.

3.3 Analytics, Performance, Heatmap, and Product-Improvement Technologies

These technologies help Waltz understand how the Waltz Properties perform and how visitors and authorized users interact with them. Depending on the tool and your choices, they may measure visits, traffic sources, page views, feature use, clicks, scrolling, navigation paths, load times, errors, device characteristics, conversions, and aggregated usage trends. They may also support heatmaps or similar interaction analysis used to improve usability and product design.

Waltz uses this information to maintain, troubleshoot, evaluate, secure, and improve the Services. Where required, these technologies remain inactive until you consent.

3.4 Advertising, Targeting, and Attribution Technologies

These technologies may help Waltz promote its products, measure advertisements and referrals, attribute visits or sign-ups to a campaign or partner, limit how often an advertisement is shown, build or measure audiences, and deliver or evaluate interest-based advertising. Advertising providers may use identifiers to recognize a browser or device across different websites or services, subject to your choices and their own privacy practices.

Waltz does not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may nevertheless define certain advertising-cookie disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising.” Where those laws apply, you may opt out as described in Section 7. Waltz does not use Customer-Controlled Data from customer CRM records, forms, campaigns, or private Customer Content for Waltz’s own targeted advertising.

3.5 Communications Measurement

Waltz emails and other electronic communications may contain pixels, tagged links, or similar technologies that help measure delivery, opens, clicks, device or browser characteristics, and related campaign activity. Waltz uses this information to operate communications, honor preferences, measure engagement, and improve messages. Section 7.5 explains available choices.

4. Information Collected Through These Technologies

Depending on the technology, Waltz and its providers may collect or generate:

  • Identifiers. Cookie values, session identifiers, device or advertising identifiers, IP address, and consent records.
  • Device and network information. Browser type, operating system, device type, language, screen or display information, network information, and approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Usage and interaction information. Pages and features viewed, clicks, scrolling, navigation, search and referral information, timestamps, errors, diagnostics, performance events, and heatmap or similar interaction data.
  • Campaign and attribution information. Referring URLs, campaign codes, advertisement interactions, conversions, and affiliate or partner attribution.
  • Account context. When you are signed in, cookie information may be associated with your account, organization, workspace, or authorized-user record to provide, secure, personalize, and measure the Services.

Waltz may combine this information with information collected from your account, your interactions with Waltz, connected services, and service providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Waltz may also create aggregated or deidentified statistics that do not reasonably identify an individual.

5. First-Party and Third-Party Technologies

5.1 First-Party Technologies

First-party technologies are placed or accessed by Waltz through the Waltz Property you are using. They commonly support account access, security, service delivery, consent records, preferences, analytics, and product operation.

5.2 Third-Party Technologies

Waltz uses service providers and connected services for functions such as hosting, content delivery, authentication, security, payments, customer support, analytics, heatmaps, communications, advertising, attribution, scheduling, embedded content, and other platform features. These providers may place or access their own technologies when a relevant feature is enabled.

The Cookie Settings interface is intended to identify current non-essential providers and their purposes before consent where required. When you intentionally connect or interact with a third-party feature, the provider may process information under its own privacy policy in addition to its agreement with Waltz. Waltz does not control technologies placed on independent third-party sites.

Depending on context and applicable law, Waltz may use cookie information to:

  • provide, authenticate, secure, and maintain the Waltz Properties and Services;
  • remember settings and personalize permitted features;
  • process transactions and deliver features, integrations, and content you request;
  • measure traffic, referrals, communications, campaigns, and feature performance;
  • produce analytics, heatmaps, diagnostics, and aggregated service insights;
  • detect fraud, misuse, attacks, outages, and violations of Waltz agreements;
  • improve usability, reliability, safety, and product design; and
  • support advertising and attribution where permitted and consistent with your choices.

Where applicable law requires prior consent for a technology or purpose, Waltz seeks that consent. Where law permits use without consent, Waltz may rely on another lawful basis described in the Privacy Policy, including providing a requested service, complying with law, or Waltz’s legitimate interests when those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Where available, use “Cookie Settings” in the Waltz website footer or cookie banner to accept, reject, or manage non-essential technologies by category. Strictly necessary technologies remain active when required to provide the service or record your choices. In jurisdictions that require prior consent, Waltz seeks consent before activating non-essential technologies. The preference tool is designed to provide granular choices and to permit withdrawal as easily as consent.

A choice generally applies only to the browser and device on which it is made. If you clear cookies, use another browser or device, use a private-browsing mode, or are not signed in, you may need to set your choices again. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

7.2 Global Privacy Control and Other Universal Opt-Out Signals

Where required by applicable law, Waltz recognizes a qualifying browser-based universal opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal. Where legally required and reasonably possible, Waltz will also apply the choice to an associated account. You may need to enable the signal separately on each browser or device.

A universal opt-out signal may not withdraw consent for every non-advertising category or disable strictly necessary technologies. Use Cookie Settings for granular choices. You may also contact Waltz at info@waltzmarketing.com with the subject “Privacy Request.”

7.3 Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no uniform industry standard for how websites must interpret that signal, Waltz Properties may not respond to it. This does not affect Waltz’s obligation to honor qualifying universal opt-out signals where required by law.

7.4 Browser and Device Controls

Most browsers and devices allow you to view, delete, limit, or block cookies and related storage. Browser help pages explain how to use those controls. Blocking all cookies may prevent sign-in, consent storage, security checks, payments, integrations, preferences, or other Services from working properly. Browser controls alone may not block pixels, server-side measurement, SDKs, or technologies in email.

7.5 Email Choices

You may unsubscribe from Waltz marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting Waltz. You may still receive transactional, billing, account, security, support, or legal messages. Disabling automatic image loading in your email client may limit some open-tracking pixels, but it may not prevent all link, delivery, or engagement measurement.

8. Duration, Expiration, and Retention

Some cookies last only for a browser session; others remain until their stated expiration date or until you delete them. Duration depends on the technology, provider, purpose, account state, security need, and your choices. The live Cookie Settings interface provides the current duration or expiration information available for each listed non-essential technology.

The expiration of a cookie does not necessarily determine how long Waltz retains information previously collected through it. Waltz retains personal information according to the Privacy Policy, applicable customer instructions, legal obligations, security needs, and its retention practices. Consent and opt-out records may be kept as needed to demonstrate and honor your choices.

9. Embedded Content, Integrations, and External Sites

A Waltz Property may offer embedded media, payment, scheduling, authentication, chat, social, advertising, domain, analytics, or other connected features. When you activate or interact with one, the third party may receive device, usage, account, or transaction information and may place technologies needed to provide the feature. Your use of that third party is also governed by its terms and privacy notice.

Links to external websites do not mean Waltz controls those sites or their technologies. Review the external operator’s cookie and privacy disclosures before interacting with it.

10. Customer Websites, Landing Pages, Forms, and Campaigns

Waltz customers can build or operate websites, landing pages, forms, booking flows, campaigns, analytics, heatmaps, and integrations through the Services. For personal information and cookies a customer chooses to collect through those experiences, the customer is generally the business or controller and Waltz is generally its service provider or processor.

Each customer is responsible for identifying every technology used on its experience; deciding which features to enable; configuring consent and preference tools; establishing a lawful basis; publishing accurate privacy and cookie disclosures; identifying third parties, purposes, and durations; honoring consent withdrawals and universal opt-out signals where required; and maintaining appropriate consent records. A customer should not use this Waltz Cookie Policy as a substitute for its own disclosures.

If you have a question about cookies on a Waltz customer’s site, contact that customer first. Waltz may refer or transmit a request concerning Customer-Controlled Data to the relevant customer and will assist as required by contract and law.

11. International Visitors

Cookie and similar-technology rules vary by location. In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions that require prior consent, Waltz seeks consent before using non-essential technologies unless a legal exception applies. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and indicated by an affirmative choice where required. You may refuse non-essential technologies without losing access to core functionality, although optional features may be limited.

Information collected through cookies may be processed in the United States and other countries. International processing, transfer safeguards, and privacy rights are described in the Waltz Privacy Policy.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Waltz Properties are designed for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. Waltz does not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 through the Waltz Properties without legally required parental consent and does not knowingly use such information for behavioral advertising. Waltz does not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you believe a child has used a Waltz Property in violation of the Privacy Policy, contact Waltz.

13. Changes to This Policy

Waltz may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, Waltz Properties, providers, or business practices. The updated version will show its effective or last updated date. Waltz will provide additional notice of material changes when required. If law requires new consent because a technology or purpose materially changes, Waltz will seek that consent before the new use.
